Money isn’t evil—extraction is.
build a healthy RELATIONSHIP with your money, spend according to your values, and build capacity for sharing and mutual aid.
If you’ve landed here, you’re probably already no stranger to Doing the Work:
You’re committed to dismantling systems of oppression and fighting fascism.
You’re here to call out white supremacy culture and grow your anti-racist practices.
You’re advocating for (and/or a proud member of) the queer, disabled, and other marginalized communities.
You celebrate that science is real, love is love, and N*zi scum can fuck right off.
In short: You know who you are, what you value, and what’s important to you.
you probably also hate capitalism and what it does to people…
…Except you’re also stuck living with and surviving that system you hate.
This means that even if you’re committed to your values, you might be stuck in financial survival mode, swimming in debt, tempted by social media ads, and binging on shopping sprees just to get any damn dose of dopamine in our current capitalist hellscape.
The justification I hear most often? “There’s no conscious consumption under capitalism.” (No shame, lovebug—we’ve all been there!)
Radical Wealth Collective exists to offer a middle ground: Just because there’s no conscious consumption under capitalism doesn’t mean you have to embrace the void and abandon every sense of personal responsibility.
Here’s what that might look like:
You can mindfully enjoy buying things that spark joy, but it doesn’t have to be your only source of dopamine.
You can build a solid financial future by learning about our existing systems, even while you work on divestment.
You can work towards habits you’re personally proud of, even as companies do whatever bullshit they’re going to do.
You can stop wealth-shaming your goals and desires and start viewing money as a tool that allows you to give back more than you ever thought possible.
If you feel called to bring greater alignment between your money and your values, Radical Wealth Collective is for you.

Hey sweet friend, Michelle here!
I’m a queer and neurodivergent financial coach, and I love helping LGBTQ+ folx and heart-centered entrepreneurs use their money to live joyful and abundant lives.
I started out as a theatre kid, but through life's weird twists and turns, I found myself in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program studying finance. While I wasn’t very good at the wearing-suits-and-shaking-hands part of the program, I found the human and psychological aspects of money fascinating, and happy-accidented my way into the personal financial planning and investment management industry.
For six years, I started and ran a wealth management company called Young & Scrappy, which grew into a multiple six-figure RIA. While it was interesting work, I pulled the plug in December 2025 in order to pivot to more values-aligned service. I loved my clients, but also wanted to help folks who couldn’t afford to work with an advisor (and yet, who often needed support the most!)
Being an entrepreneur also gives me the freedom to work on my own terms, serve only the kickass progressive clients that I love so much, and think creatively about how we amass and manage our resources as humans and community members.
In engaging with this work, I value:
Emotional honesty about the role capitalism plays in our lives
Making changes from a place of empowerment, not shame
Getting clear on what’s important, and then aligning your money accordingly
Being open to learning, and trusting that it’s not too late to grow
Holding space for the hard conversations, teaching one another to be better allies, and honoring wherever you’re at in your journey
Everyday I wake up grateful for the small but hopefully meaningful role I play as a coach–it’s truly an honor to serve and support you.
Does the vibe align?
(If so, we’d be honored to support you on your financial journey!)
